Essentials of Fire Fighting

So, quite the interresting week.  Our office building burned in the middle of the night on Tuesday.  Cool though, the flames stopped at our office (even though the wind was blowing the flames toward it).  So our stuff is just stinky, but not ruined.  The building is a total loss.  So we will be cleaning out our belongings and moving to "not sure".

I'm so thankful for God's peace in the midst of everything.  We know that He alone is our supplier and our salvation from fire!!

Love to All!!!

So I Love Winter Wildness!!  (winter retreat)  Dispite that it's in the winter, in cabins, you sleep on rock hard bunks, eat camp food, and you use public showers.... it's the best!  Wow, doesn't JESUS make everything a blast?!

Once again, we had the best group of students.  It's super great getting to know new kids. I happened to win at ping-pong a lot, of course.  The best part.....So many lives were touched by the Holy Spirit!!  Yay God!!

Rebekah,  your snoring was missed!

Love God!  Live Loud!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  My highlight was the Youth prayer meeting "Elevation" in Flint.  25 different youth ministries.  2,400 hundred people, mostly students, gathered to pray for their city.  Pretty wonderful.  But I know next time there will be more.

Big news in GB.....new gym at the HS, new Sams and Wal Mart opened.  What a Metropolitan City we live in.  I'll have to venture out to visit them this week.  Yep, that's what's exciting in January in Michigan.

Have a fabulous week.  Remember your prayers can change the world!!

Loving that it's a New Year.  I love new beginnings.  I'm so thankful that God is all about new life, refreshing, and do overs.

But we all, with the unveiled face behooding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit. 2Cor 3:18

Count down has definitely begun.  Just a number, yet quite a significant milestone.  I keep telling everyone that it's coming so that I get used to saying it out loud......40.  Well, the best consulation is that I will always be "the baby".

Have a Blessed Day.  Better Yet.....be a Blessing!!

Fun times.  Bradly exploded a Catsup bottle on the kitchen floor last night.  and we buy the ginormous size from Sams.  You have to laugh at something like that.  You can cry over exploding Catsup.

It's quite difficult to Christmas shop with others.  Everyone has their own agenda to go after.  Yet when you go alone you get a lot accomplished.....but also quite lonely.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!
